Oxford DPhil Programmes Open Evening

You will find out more about our Oxford DPhil in Management and Oxford DPhil in Finance programmes and have the opportunity to ask our team or current students any questions you may have during the Q&A or networking receptions. Registration opens at 5.30pm, presentations will begin at 6pm.

The open evening will include:

• Registration and networking drinks

• Introduction to the DPhil programmes

• Introductions from the programme convenors

• Admissions presentation

• Q&A panel with current DPhil students

• Tour of the School

• Networking refreshments

If you wish to attend, please book your place. Please note the event will focus on the Oxford DPhil in Management and Oxford DPhil in Finance programmes. No information will be provided on other courses taught at the Business School.

Both the Oxford DPhil in Management and Oxford DPhil in Finance are four year, fully funded programmes which will provide you with ​in-depth training in academic research skills to develop you as a productive scholar. Our Doctoral training will immerse you in all aspects of academic life and you will be both a student and a junior research colleague. We provide courses in a wide variety of research methods and you will work closely with your supervisors to define your research question and develop your thesis. These programmes are for individuals who are interested in careers in academia in either Financial or Management subjects.
